History:

We hold a rich history and a deep experience of the spice market since decades. With a passion to offer authentic and premium quality spices that are rich in flavor and aroma, Raghunath Bhikaji Khamkar (Father of Ashok Bhikaji Khamkar and Grandfather of Amar Ashok Kahmkar) had established the spices business in the year 1937 along with his 4 brothers namely:

Pundalik Bhikaji Khamkar

Tanu Bhikaji Khamkar

Bhau bhikaji Khamkar

During that era we had three shops in Lalbaug, two in Tardeo, one in Mahim and one in Bhoiwada.

It was in 1956, when Ashok Bhikaji Khamkar started working with a shop and had a dream to spread a landscape of spices in the Indian market. Thus, he started his own business of Indian spices under the name “Ashok Khamkar Masala” in the year 1992. It is our pleasure to announce that we are the third generation seasoners in this industry. The other Khamkar brothers are also in the business of spices and everyone is going strong in the industry. Today we as “Ashok Khamkar Masala” have become the brand of great repute in the Masala (spices) industry. We are highly regarded in Mumbai as well as in other places in India.

Our flawless products have helped us to carve a distinct niche for ourselves in this competitive domain.
